David (Dave) Kiersh is an illustrator and designer with a love for personal, offbeat and nostalgic comic books and fiction. He created the comic strip Drop-In for The Long Island Voice. His books include Afterschool Special, Dirtbags Mallchicks and Motorbikes, and Neverland. He has also worked as a graphics specialist for Arizona State University. Additionally, Dave has been a public and school librarian since 2004.

Dave has always been a collector and he created and maintains his own personal library of humor and esoteric art. It is the largest collection of adult themed humor cartoons in the world! This can be found on his other site comicartandbooks.com
