Comics and COLLECTING

David (Dave) Kiersh is an illustrator and designer with a love for personal, offbeat and nostalgic comic books and fiction. He created the comic strip Drop-In for The Long Island Voice. His books include Afterschool Special, Dirtbags Mallchicks and Motorbikes, and Neverland. Some of these comics were written about in a Comics Journal profile. He has also worked as a graphics specialist for Arizona State University. Additionally, Dave has been a public and school librarian since 2004.

Dave has always been a collector and he created and maintains his own personal library of humor and esoteric art from the 1960s through the 1980s including paperbacks, comics, magazines, posters, records, original comic art and more.
